Reverts to hurdles for this reappearance. Last seen in this sphere when competitive from 1lb higher in February 2017. Claims if he can bounce back to his form of last winter, rather than last spring. Market check.
Progressive gelding who is seeking a four-timer here. Comfortable scorer when upped in grade/trip at Newbury last time. Up another 9lb for that, but that may not necessarily be an end to his run.
Left Willie Mullins after his last run in September, costing connections £50,000. Won on good in Ireland and over both hurdles and fences at 2m. Still a bit to prove over this far, but market check on stable debut.
Won a soft ground Ascot maiden hurdle (2m5½f) in December, and was beaten under 2L from this mark on his handicap debut next time. Faced stiff tasks since and didn't appear to take to chasing last time. Bit to prove.
Won a Taunton novices' hurdle (2m3f, soft) on debut in January, and was in similar form back there when last seen under a penalty in April. Worth trying over further again. Initial mark stiff enough but unexposed and interesting.
Largely consistent as a novice last season and scored here (2m4½f, soft) in March. Stays 3m on heavy ground. Up 2lb for this reappearance and yet to show he is as effective on good, but can't rule him out each-way.
Was a 7L C&D winner (good) on his stable debut in August, when 11lb lower. Has been exposed in both subsequent starts, however. New headgear combination tried here and 5lb claimed. Enters calculations.
Won at both Sedgefield (2m4f, soft) and here over C&D (soft) last season, the latter from 5lb lower. Respectable effort from this mark in a big field Cheltenham handicap on his reappearance. Should go well.
Dual winner as a novice for Henry Daly in 2016, and would have each-way claims if able to get back to the form he showed for him in September. Disappointed on stable debut last time, however. New headgear. Bit to prove.

A competitive heat in prospect, with Jersey Bean likely to be popular after recent form. However, a further 9lb rise could make him vulnerable now and the suggestion is AARON LAD. Dr Richard Newland's seven-year-old ran well on his return at Cheltenham and may now be able to kick on again. Perfect Man is a potential danger, along with the unexposed Darcy Ward and top weight Wotzizname.
