Cost £65,000 after easily winning a Cork maiden hurdling on testing ground in May. Trainer has a good record here and this gelding looks set to go well under a penalty on his stable/British debut.
Bumper winner on good to soft. Tailed off on his recent return over hurdles. Plenty to prove for the moment.

Showed smart form in bumpers for Dermot Weld, although was 0-3 in three hurdles starts for him. Nonetheless, he has claims on the best of those three runs, if he can reproduce it on his stable/British debut.

Ffos Las bumper winner who shaped with promise on his hurdles debut at Bangor last month. Should be able to improve on that and get competitive.
Never a threat prior to unseating on his hurdles debut at Uttoxeter on Saturday. Watch.

Well held in all starts so far, the latest being his hurdles debut at Chepstow in April. Can only watch.
German Flat winner over 1m-1m3f, but last of 12 and didn't jump well on hurdles debut at Bangor in June. Still early days, and probably has enough speed to get involved if his jumping holds up.

Showed some promise despite pulling hard on debut at Worcester last month. Trainer shows a profitable return and 20% strike rate here over five seasons, so a competitive effort would not surprise.

Beaten less than 2L at Ffos Las last time out, which was another promising effort on her first run post-wind surgery. Has a fair bit going for her here.

Forecasts

Etamine Du Cochet (15/8), Grey Diamond (2/1), Dancingwith Storms (7/2), First Figaro (5/1), Daydream Aulmes (14/1), Another Theatre (33/1), Tim Rocco (33/1), Mid Day Gun (66/1), Plenty Of Butty (100/1)

Verdict

One of the day's more interesting races, with Dancingwith Storms, First Figaro and Grey Diamond all interesting potential contenders. Another Theatre could also have a say, though preference is for ETAMINE DU COCHET, who is taken to turn her promise into success this time.
  1. Etamine Du Cochet
  2. Dancingwith Storms
  3. Grey Diamond
