Lightly-raced over fences, with one win from three starts earlier this year coming year coming over similar trip on yielding to soft going at Tipperary. Had recent hurdles spin to blow away cobwebs for this new test.
In good form over the summer, including September success at Kilbeggan (3m1f, good). Fair effort since in the Munster National and should be capable of big challenge here.
Ran some decent races last season in Cross Country events, including here. Back from a break and likely benefits from this run, with others preferred today.
Gallant veteran who has failed to finish three of his last four starts. Won this race last year and not discounted back over the Banks.
Runner-up in this contest back in 2016 and regular on the Cross County circuit since. Placed in the La Touche Cup here in April over marathon trip. Could run into the money if ready to roll on reappearance.
Teenager now, finished 22L sixth of 12 behind Mtada Supreme in this race 12 months ago, hasn't really taken to this discipline and others preferred.
Eight-year-old Milan gelding with just three starts under rules, unable to get a serious blow in when down the field in this race last year and hard to recommend again.
0-20 as a chaser, shaped well enough in this last year (fourth), though failed to get around in two further spring visits. Trainer has masterful record in this race and no shock to see him in the mix.
Dual point-to-point winner, posted fair efforts in two Cross Country runs here in the spring, capable of going well fresh and is one to pay attention to in the betting here.
Mare won her sole outing in a point-to-point at Tinahely last month, doing so in good style. First start for new handler is something of an unknown quantity, wouldn't pay to write her off.

Forecasts
Ballycasey (15/8), Full Cry (2/1), Hurricane Darwin (5/2), My Hometown (9/2), Amaulino (5/1), Ballyboker Bridge (16/1), Mtada Supreme (20/1), An Rinceoir Alainn (20/1), Black Benny (40/1), Vital Island (66/1), Lighting Tunes (66/1)
Enda Bolger has won eight of the last 10 renewals of this race and it will be no surprise should My Hometown put a couple of spring mishaps behind him and run a big race now. Last year's winner Mtada Supreme is one of five for trainer Peter Maher in the line-up but once-raced winning point-to-pointer An Rinceoir Alainn might be the yard's best chance. Ballycasey has a distinct class advantage and could thrive if this discipline takes his fancy but FULL CRY is also quite talented and the Munster National fourth earns the verdict on his first try over this unique course.
- Full Cry
- My Hometown
- An Rinceoir Alainn
