Has made just about all to win two of his last four runs and his latest at Plumpton was emphatic for which his 7lb rise was fully justified. Bit more on his plate but does bring recent winning form to the table.
Nowhere near the force he was in the days with Nicky Henderson and easily passed over despite his dropping mark.
Won off a higher mark at Fakenham last December but form has fallen apart since then and got no further than the fifth on latest chase run.
Tends to go well after a break so latest absence not a concern. This tends to be his time of year as well so enough positives to make him a contender in a weak finale.
Creditable second on chase debut but never figured on return to Bangor since when a couple of early mistakes seemed to unsettle him. Has the ability but something to prove on the jumping front.
Finished last season on a low but shaped quite well on Warwick comeback run and if he can build on that he is well treated now. First and second from only two previous visits here.
Badly out of sorts for a while and hard to see him reverse the form with Turban on latest run when tailed off behind that rival.
Little bit better at Newton Abbot last time but that still isn't saying much and needs to improve plenty to be a contender here.
Fakenham third on new years day was a beacon of light in a poor season last term and was beaten a long way the other times he made the frame.
Achieved very little when second in a three horse race at Stratford recently and easy to look elsewhere from 8lb out of the weights.
Tailed off in hunter chase and handicap since switching to this yard and very hard to fancy from 10lb out of the weights.

Arquebusier (11/4), Turban (7/2), Water Wagtail (9/2), Full Shift (6/1), Filemon (6/1), Ballyantics (7/1), Midnight Owle (11/1), Mortens Leam (18/1), Wish In A Well (20/1), Monet Moor (22/1), Broughtons Bandit (50/1), Grayhawk (66/1)
Turban is likely to be popular in his bid for a quick follow up but under his welter burden he may struggle to contain FILEMON who shapes as though he may have improvement to come. With a better round of jumping Ballyantics can make the frame.
