C&D winner of a handicap hurdle over 12-months ago off a 16lb lower mark. Struggling since returning to the track following an 11-month absence. Needs to bounce back in a big way to have a say.
Modest 52-rated handicapper on the Flat and has shown relatively little in three hurdle starts in the last 12-months. Plenty to prove at present.
C&D winner and in good form towards the end of the season in April rising 13lb in the weights. Possibly needed his comeback run at Galway last month and one for the shortlist.
Winner of one of his five hurdle start and not seen since finishing last but one of a 14-runner handicap hurdle in July 2017. Watching brief on return.
Got off the mark for connections at the seventh time of asking when landing a Wexford maiden hurdle last month over 2m4f. Yard in enthusiastic form and worth a market check on handicap debut.
Seven-race mare over hurdles and generally well held in a couple of efforts since August. Market possibly the best guide in this contest.
Two from 29 over hurdles with his last win coming in a Wexford handicap in July off a 10lb lower mark. Promising runs of late not assisted by continuing rise in the weights.
Has put together a couple of encouraging runs at Galway and Fairyhouse recently and arrives here on his last winning mark. One for the shortlist.
C&D winner albeit in March 2016 off a 15lb lower mark. Chasing recently but no surprise to see him bounce back over hurdles in these conditions.
Winner of one of his 10 starts over timber and the Yeats gelding has not looked like adding to the total in a couple of dismal efforts when last seen in September. Hard to fancy and plenty to prove.
Two from 13 over hurdles but has not been seen under rules for over two years. Best watched on return to action.
Improved form when making the frame at Tramore and then Wexford in the spring before another promising second of 11 beaten 2¾L in a Ballinrobe handicap hurdle in September. Strong place claims once again.
C&D winner of a handicap hurdle over three years ago off a 12lb higher mark. Not getting any younger but still displays plenty of enthusiasm. Capable of a big run.
Not disgraced in her first two handicap hurdle starts at Limerick and Ballinrobe last month. Pulled up when something amiss at Clonmel in September and needs to improve in this company.
Largely well held in two handicap hurdles despite attractive finishing positions. Overall record casts doubt on his ability to get competitive here.
Unplaced in eight starts although latest fifth of 23 at Cork in first-time cheekpieces which he retains was probably a career best effort. More needed in this contest.
Still in touch when brought down in a Thurles handicap hurdle over 2m earlier this month but overall form doesn't warrant support here.
Forecasts
She's Made It (7/2), Effernock Lad (7/1), Pound A Stroke (7/1), Clementina (8/1), Bazarov (8/1), Broder (11/1), Churchtown Glen (12/1), Naturally Blond (12/1), Time And Times (14/1), Bitsandpieces (16/1), All About Alfie (16/1), Takemeback (16/1), Still Alive (25/1), Get Out Of Jail (25/1), All The Chimneys (33/1), Miss Echrad (33/1), Father Jed (33/1)
The solid and consistent, J P McManus-owned SHE'S MADE IT can get off the mark at the eighth time of asking here building on a number of promising displays since April. Effernock Lad, not beaten far at Fairyhouse last month and Naturally Blond, recently running well in defeat can hit the frame in this competitive handicap. C&D winners Pound A Stroke and All The Chimneys should not be taken lightly.
