Gelding by Pushkin out of a Kahysi mare. Half-brother to Persian Wind and hurdle winner The Mulcare Rover. 66/1 and no impact in Galway bumper last month, up in distance for hurdles bow.
Stowaway gelding, makes racecourse bow for in-form Joseph O'Brien team and worth a closer look in the betting.
Impressive winner of valuable bumper here at the Festival in April, form well and truly advertise by stablemate winning a Navan bumper with plenty in hand last weekend. Big player on hurdles bow.
Fame And Glory gelding, winning start in a bumper her in April and twice finished second at Listowel and Tipperary after summer break. Race-fit and turns attention to hurdling with extra half-mile likely to suit.
Azamour gelding is a half-brother to French hurdle winner El Monstro. Worth a betting check on debut but a surprise if he proves up to this.
Home-bred Scorpion foal, poor in two bumpers and never threatened to outrun 100/1 odds on hurdles bow at Cork (2m, good to yielding) this month. Up in distance.
Gamut filly out of a Beau Sher mare. Half-sister to point-to-point winner. Worth a check in the market with yard more than holding their own this term.
Casamento filly, cost 15,000 gns as a foal and 5,000 gns as a yearling. Well beaten and no impression in three career bumper starts and similar story on hurdles bow at Cork this month.
Forecasts
Commander Of Fleet (1/5), Kalum River (7/2), Castle Oliver (8/1), Organised Solution (25/1), Beginagain (33/1), Galboystown Rose (33/1), Pino Boy (50/1), Miss Cassy (50/1)
COMMANDER OF FLEET was most impressive when landing a valuable bumper at the Festival here in April, form that has been franked recently by his stablemate, and he is very hard to oppose for a winning start over timber now. Kalum River also showed decent potential in winning a bumper at this track. He is race-fit after two runner-up efforts in that sphere recently and will be ready to swoop if the market leader falters. The newcomer Castle Oliver outshines the remainder on paper.
- Commander Of Fleet
- Kalum River
- Castle Oliver
