7/2
Fame And Glory gelding, winning start in a bumper her in April and twice finished second at Listowel and Tipperary after summer break. Race-fit and turns attention to hurdling with extra half-mile likely to suit.

Forecasts

Commander Of Fleet (1/5), Kalum River (7/2), Castle Oliver (8/1), Organised Solution (25/1), Beginagain (33/1), Galboystown Rose (33/1), Pino Boy (50/1), Miss Cassy (50/1)

Verdict

COMMANDER OF FLEET was most impressive when landing a valuable bumper at the Festival here in April, form that has been franked recently by his stablemate, and he is very hard to oppose for a winning start over timber now. Kalum River also showed decent potential in winning a bumper at this track. He is race-fit after two runner-up efforts in that sphere recently and will be ready to swoop if the market leader falters. The newcomer Castle Oliver outshines the remainder on paper.
  1. Commander Of Fleet
  2. Kalum River
  3. Castle Oliver
