Quite well tried in seven starts for Brian Meehan and his fourth at Ascot sets the standard. Shaped as though he should be suited by this drop in trip and interesting on stable debut.
Three starts in 2016 before missing last year. Came back to his best when an encouraging second following reappearance. This would require more but open to progress.
Firebreak colt out of Listed placed dam. Failed to build on debut when disappointing over a mile here and this is a sharp drop in trip.
Remains a maiden after 17 starts and was very poor at Kempton latest. Likely to find this tough once again.
Camacho filly who is a half-sister to a couple of winners from 7f to 1m. Well beaten over further at HQ in July and remains best watched.
Tailed off in two bumpers and has suffered a similar fate in two runs on the Flat. Hard to make any sort of case for.
With Johnny Murtagh in Ireland during her formative years but moved on for 18,000gns in July. Best run for new yard when showing plenty of pace over 7f at Chelmsford and this drop in trip should suit. Should make a bold bid.
Fourth of nine on debut for Robert Cowell at Doncaster in June. Just a touch below that on stable debut and this need fair bit more progress.
Bit hit and miss in handicaps season but her Epsom fourth would put her in the mix. Disappointing though back on the AW latest and needs first-time cheekpieces to revitalise her.
Forecasts
Faraasah (7/4), Your Choice (7/2), Side Effect (4/1), Poetic Principle (5/1), Warrior Goddess (8/1), Reignite (14/1), Premium Pink (50/1), Roue De Charrette (50/1), Stopdworldnletmeof (50/1)
Faraasah could be suited by this drop in trip and with some of the best form on offer, will be of interest if support comes on this stable debut. SIDE EFFECT though showed loads of pace over further and that run also cried out for a try at sprinting. Poetic Principle ran well on his second start following a very lengthy absence and can improve.
