Nothing of note in four of her last five starts including a below-par effort here earlier this month. Saddle slipping not helping her cause but still hard to fancy.
12-race maiden on the AW who has been beaten on four starts this season running over 7f to 1m. Has won over 1m1f previously and could hit the frame stepping back up in trip.
C&D winner last month off an 8lb lower mark when landing a 14-runner handicap beating Sleepy Head 1¾L. Gallant second of 13 earlier this month and another bold show looks likely.
Dual winner over C&D latest over two years ago off a 15lb higher mark. Not one to totally leave out of calculations.
Not beaten far over 1m here last month but struggled over C&D earlier this month. Looks a filly that may need more time and first-time cheekpieces not guaranteed to assist.
Beaten here on a number of occasions when in the hands of Jessica Harrington as a two-year-old. Not seen for over 14-months and best watched on return to action.
Promising third of 14 beaten 4L over C&D earlier this month off a 3lb higher mark. Given a chance by the handicapper and claims in first-time blinkers.
One from 12 in career but plenty to take from the geldings debut here over 1m4f last month when second of 14 beaten 5L off a similar mark. Can be expected to improve.
Got off the mark for connections at the 16th time of asking on her eighth race here when landing a 14-runner handicap over C&D earlier this month off a 5lb lower mark. Capable of another big run.
Has produced a number of laboured runs on turf over the summer at various trips without success. Watching brief on first AW run for over 12-months.
Poor form in a series of starts over the summer and on his first start for current connections since joining from Kevin Prendergast. Pleasing fifth of 14 earlier this month over C&D and capable of having her say here.
Seven-race maiden for trainer-Adrian McGuinness including three defeats here over 1m. Looks vulnerable on stable debut.
Four-race maiden and well down the field on AW debut here over 1m last month. Plenty to work on based on what she has shown so far.
Not much to shout about in five poor career starts to date including a heavy 18L defeat on sole start here in July. Plenty to prove.
Forecasts
Lady De Vesci (7/2), Brokopondo (4/1), Shadow Seven (5/1), Crossingoz (13/2), Danehill Quest (7/1), Mcguigan (8/1), Rise Again (12/1), Lady Kimberley (14/1), Darling Days (14/1), Marmalade N Toast (16/1), Tomwontlisten (20/1), The Perch (25/1), Spanish Soprano (25/1), Another Dressin (33/1)
With no proven pace angle in the race it may be left to LADY DE VESCI to make headway, as she has done previously, around the 2f marker quickly putting the race beyond reach. C&D winner last month off an 8lb lower mark when landing a 14-runner handicap beating Sleepy Head 1¾L the mare can see off the attentions of C&D winners Brokopondo and Crossingoz. The Jim Bolger-trained McGuigan showed plenty of speed over shorter and is worth a market check stepping up in trip.
- Lady De Vesci
- Brokopondo
- Crossingoz
