BetVictor Handicap Chase

Not seen over fences since he was well beaten in the Arkle over C&D but picked up a Listed win over hurdles last season and his handicap mark over fences looks fair.

Just one win from nine starts over fences but has run well in defeat on his two chase starts here. Goes well fresh and not one to underestimate.

Won this race last year and held his form well throughout the remainder of the campaign that included a good sixth of 22 at the Festival. Only 2lb higher than last year and expected to run well.

Inconsistent performer but he was a Grade 2 winner back in 2014 and he ran a huge race in the Topham at Aintree last year. Comeback run was promising enough and should come on for that effort.

Won back to back races in the spring and has worked his way back down to a feasible handicap mark. Not disgraced in Listed class at Ascot last time and while no match for the front two, he should run well again here. Likely to want some rain.

Made his first start since wind surgery when winning at Fakenham last time on his return from an absence. Back on his last winning handicap mark but this looks like one of his tougher assignments.

Improving all the time for this yard but he was too keen at Ascot last time when only third. This is a step up in class and he needs to continue on his upward curve if he's going to beat these rivals.
