Now 9lb lower than win over this trip at Ripon in April but badly out of form since. Best watched until signs of a revival.

Progressive in winning four of his last seven including here on his seasonal reappearance but tailed off in two starts since. Remains opposable.

Not disgraced at Chester but folded easily at Windsor when looming up strongly. Suited by step up in distance but others probably better handicapped.

Ran better on second start from an absence and should come on for the run. Remains high in the weights but could be competitive.

Lingfield debut winner who was disappointing on handicap debut. Shaped better when second on her third start and should be suited by this stiffer test but remains high in the weights back in this grade.

Bids for a course hat-trick including winning over this distance last start. Up 5lb and in grade but won with plenty in hand and quickened as though he's nicely ahead of the handicapper.

Noble Expression33
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-9| J: Charlie Bennett| T: J R Boyle| OR:  82| BF
20/1
Returned with a good third following a lengthy absence and subsequently sold out of Roger Varian's yard for 40,000gns. This is tougher but lightly-raced and open to improvement on stable debut.

Forecasts

Caspar The Cub (1/1), Part Exchange (11/4), Cosmeapolitan (7/1), Grand Inquisitor (8/1), Noble Expression (20/1), Guns of Leros (20/1), Great Hall (33/1)

Verdict

Part Exchange is lightly-raced and could well improve significantly but is probably worth taking on off her current mark. CASPAR THE CUB is moving rapidly in the right direction and possesses a smart change of gears while Noble Expression is also progressive and rates the main danger if continuing that trend for his new yard. Grand Inquisitor should now be spot on and has place credentials.
  1. Caspar The Cub
  2. Noble Expression
  3. Grand Inquisitor
