Landed a hat-trick north of the border mid-summer (6f-7f) and has perhaps predictably struggled off an elevated mark since; 2-14 on the AW; finished a close up third here in a 6f claimer recently; up in trip.
Stablemate of Mujassam; all three of his career wins have come over 1m1f+ to 1m2f, so this drop back in trip is potentially unfavourable. That said; he's not been at his sharpest of late, so there's probably no harm in trying something different.
His sole career win came on the Fibresand at Southwell (7f) in February, and he's ventured across the Channel to France on various occasions since (beaten in soft ground claimers); considerably more work to do at these weights.
0-16 on the AW and hasn't won anywhere since July 2017 (7f, Ascot); excuses at Brighton latest (rider was slow to remove the blindfold), and twice placed immediately prior (7f-1m2f); eased in grade with cheekpieces now applied.
1-10 on the AW; first time hood added to regular cheekpieces; restless in the stalls when a beaten favourite (11/4) in a Class 6 handicap over 7f here just six days ago.

An uninspiring claimer in which by far the likeliest candidate is the David Evans-trained LOS CAMACHOS. His C&D second to Equitant (in a Class 4 handicap) is the strongest recent form on offer and furthermore as the top-rated of these seven horses (84), he's very well treated on these terms. Others with reasonably solid credentials include Mujassam and Lunar Deity.
