Remains a maiden but performances in two most recent maiden hurdles show he has enough ability to change that with a staying on second at Clonmel most recently also hinting that this slight step up in trip may suit on chasing debut,
Failed to complete in three of his five point-to-points and was never better than fifth. Detached in last on recent rules debut in a bumper and for all this will suit better he makes little appeal.
Five-time placed hurdler switches to chasing after a couple of somewhat disappointing runs most recently, finishing eighth in each. First start over fences and has enough ability at his best to go well although will hope showers materialise.
Never really made the requisite progress over hurdles and first two chase starts not overly encouraging. Sixth in a hot contest at Listowel followed by fifth in a lesser race at Downpatrick. Chase experience a plus and this weaker again,
Only once placed over hurdles, a remote third at Kilbeggan last year and three hurdles races seen him basically tailed off in each. Hard to find any positives from them so making the frame would take dramatic improvement.
Maiden hurdler unseated her rider at the first on chase debut at Sligo and jumped ponderously next time at Tramore. Slightly better next back over hurdles here but return to larger obstacles again raises more concerns.
