Mark is falling through the floor now after some very moderate efforts for this yard and hopes rather pinned on the return to hurdles. This trip just one question mark in a list of many and hard to fancy here.
Easy winner on second start for this yard at Uttoxeter last time, ridden more prominent than had been the case and it paid handsome dividends. 12lb higher here but trip won't be an issue, and looks the one to beat again.
Winner of last two starts and as he's not winning by much, handicapper may not have fully caught up with him yet. Very game last time and clearly relishes a trip/good ground, so has to be one of the major players again here.
Very well backed to score here in September but that was a weak race and he ran nowhere near that level back here last time out. Meets some in-form rivals here and might find it all a bit too tough.
On a very good mark on best of his form now but despite the odd run that gives hope all is not lost, too many poor efforts in between to be confident about his chances. New headgear tried now but overall, a risky proposition.
C&D winner here in June but mainly a tale of woe since then, and has a deal of ground to make up on Sounds Of Italy on their Uttoxeter run last time out. Looks an unlikely winner.

Forecasts
Sounds Of Italy (1/1), Bermeo (9/4), Hardtorock (15/2), Findusatgorcombe (9/1), How's Vienna (14/1), Polo The Mumm (25/1), Mortens Leam (33/1)
SOUNDS OF ITALY and Bermeo are the two that bring good recent form to the table and look the ones to concentrate on. Sounds Of Italy is given the vote after a more positive ride last time, and it may be they have now found the key to him. There could easily be more to come. Bermeo will be no pushover but may need a bit more to come out on top here. It's a guess up between the rest as to which one might show his form on the day - perhaps How's Vienna might be the one if fit after an absence.
