Likely sort following a win on a British raid at Southwell last month off a mark of 112. The manner of the win makes him a leading player.
Distance winner at Listowel in September off a 9lb lower mark and has been beaten on two occasions since when finishing runner-up, both when sent off as favourite. Another bold show looks on the cards.
Best performances for some time in a Kilbeggan handicap hurdle over 2m in August when close second of 14. Inconsistent and frustrating sort who may find this a tough ask in first-time bilinkers.
Finally rewarded connections for their support with Roscommon success over 2m on good ground before following up at Fairyhouse off a 6lb higher mark last month. Likely to improve again and a leading contender.
Four-race maiden hurdler for trainer Claire Dyson and needs to bounce back in a big way here on stable debut for new connections.
Mare improved on second start over timber when good second of 13 in novice hurdle at Roscommon before disappointing when 27L adrift of the winner at Wexford last month. Needs to improve on even her best form.
Has shown relatively little in a couple of starts since returning to action in June. Needs to show significant improvement in this company.
Inconsistent four-race maiden hurdler who was well held when never nearer ninth of 14, well beaten on handicap debut last month. Tough ask and others preferred.
Six-race maiden hurdler pulled up when tailed off on latest start at Wexford in September. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
Has failed to muster a threat in eight career starts over timber and looks well out of his depth here.
Forecasts
Bay Hill (6/4), Toor General (11/4), Benny In Milan (10/3), Billy's Angel (12/1), Lucky Phil (16/1), Josephina (16/1), Daring Decree (25/1), Cap'n (33/1), Ask David (50/1), U S Navy Seal (50/1)
Difficult to see TOOR GENERAL being unable to land a hat-trick of wins here following wins at Roscommon and Fairyhouse last month. The improving seven-year-old can see off the attentions of the solid and consistent, Bay Hill and the Denis Hogan-trained, Benny In Milan. Novice chase winner for previous connections, Cap'n is deserving of consideration on stable debut.
