Half-brother to four winners on the Flat including a couple of useful sorts in Jaameh and Ewell Place. Trainer yet to have a bumper winner this year but has a good strike-rate in general (28%) over the past five years; likely to be in the mix.

Second runner in this for the trainer but looks the second string on jockey bookings at least. Had the one run so far and looked green although he did go in snatches which hinted at something more sinister; treat with a little care.
Half-brother to five winners on the Flat and a rare bumper runner for this Flat-based yard (first runner in GB in a bumper). Given his breeding (a couple of his half-brothers were smart) he's worth a watch in the market; note a positive move.

From a predominantly Flat yard (0-6 in bumpers past 5 years) he showed some promise on debut (attracted support) despite not settling fully when 4th at Huntingdon. May do better here but meets some useful sorts.

14/1
Debutante who is tongue-tied for his debut but is a half-brother to five winners on the Flat and over hurdles. Yard are always respected in this sort event have a decent strike rate over the past five years (15%).

Comes from a top jumping yard with a good record in this sort of event but he'll need to show a lot more than he did on his debut. Finished last on that occasion and finished tailed off; more to do here.
Course at Market Rasen didn't look ideal for his debut and it took a while for the penny to drop on his debut (bred more for stamina than speed). Finished really strongly and looks to need a test; track will suit better here.

Stable has had some bumper success but this looks a tough ask for this Native Ruler gelding on his debut. Dam was a 6f-7f winner and he may lack the necessary stamina for this task.

From a powerful stable out of a bumper winner who was well related to Group winning stayers Bayrika and Behkara and good jumper Behrajan. Has already had wind surgery and makes her debut in first-time tongue-tie; trainer 5-17 in bumpers this season.

Shaped well when 3rd in a similar event at Market Rasen (Stormin Norman 4th) on her debut with cheekpieces on. Showed plenty of speed and may not want the sort of test that she is likely to get here; respected but may find a few too good.
Sister to a couple of winners and a half-sister to another three by Champs Elysees. Trainer has a modest record over the past five years in bumpers and has gone 0-9 in this sphere this season; others appeal more.

Pedigree looks a mixed one and showed very little promise on her debut 16/1 when beating just one home in a junior bumper at Huntingdon. Raced freely and will need to settle better to make an impression.

Second debutante runner in the race for the trainer (hood worn) and looks to be the lesser fancied of the duo. Dam won over 5f and not one to get excited about unless the market spoke in her favour.

Alright Sunshine (6/5), Lossiemouth (4/1), Book Of Invasions (11/2), Bergamot (6/1), Stormin Norman (6/1), Conchita (12/1), Lastofthecosmics (14/1), Fumarole (22/1), Beast Of Belstane (33/1), Dance Avenue (33/1), Villiersdorp (40/1), Tommycole (50/1), Rebel Rock (80/1), Paris Dixie (125/1)

Verdict

The front end of the market has performed well in this over the past few years and having won this with a debut runner in 2016 Keith Dalgleish could well repeat the trick with the well-fancied (in the early market) ALRIGHT SUNSHINE who is related to some smart Flat types. This test will suit Stormin Norman much better than his debut (stiffer track) and he could put his experience to good use. Bergamot is an interesting newcomer from a powerful yard while the Irish raider Book Of Invasions is worth checking for a positive market move. Fumarole and Lastofthecosmics are two others that are of interest in a decent event of its type.
  1. Alright Sunshine
  2. Stormin Norman
  3. Book Of Invasions
