Has won each of his last three races over 3m and represents a trainer with a 2-2 record in this contest.
Won six races 2016-17 but more recently his form has deteriorated and his mark has slipped accordingly. Hard to fancy until promising more.
Young progressive chaser who stays well and handles the ground. Up a further 2lb for his Gowran Park third but still worth considering.
Has won three races this year but returns from a six month break requiring a career best on ground quicker than ideal.
His four wins have come on softer ground than this and he is yet to prove himself at this trip.
Looks held by Cecil Corbett on Gowran form but his two career victories have come here. Some of his best performances have been under this rider and blinkers are given a go this time.
The tank emptied quickly in the closing stages at Cheltenham last week, but that was still an encouraging run given his prior efforts. Stable 2-2 in this race and hard to dismiss.
Has been busy since opening his account in a Wexford hurdle (2m) in June. Stays this far but mistakes proved costly last time and he will need to jump a lot better against more experienced chasers.
Was in the process of running a better race last time but was ultimately held in third when coming down at the last. Record stands at 1-24 and others make more appeal.
Winner of a slowly run race at Ballinrobe on testing ground before finding this mark on good ground beyond him last time.
Useful point-to-pointer who scored at Cork in April. Had a pipe opener over hurdles last month but a bit to find on form.

Freewheelin Dylan (5/2), Ballybrowney Jack (9/2), Presenting Julio (11/2), Bosco Di Alco (13/2), Double Portrait (7/1), Cecil Corbett (12/1), Carlitos Bay (14/1), Dinnie's Vinnie (14/1), Angus Milan (14/1), He Knows My Name (20/1), Pi Ahio (20/1), Heist (33/1)
Gordon Elliott has a 100% record in this and saddles two strong contenders in Cecil Corbett and PRESENTING JULIO. The former has won his last three over this trip, but the selection signalled a return to form at Cheltenham last week and Davy Russell is back on board for the first time since his last success. Freewheelin Dylan is a young improving sort who can play a decent hand again, whilst Bosco Di Alco reserves his best for this track and goes well for today's rider. With blinkers fitted this time he could go well at a decent price.
- Presenting Julio
- Freewheelin Dylan
