Both his wins have come in first-time headgear. Up 4lb for the latest of those. Hard to be dogmatic about his chances now sporting visor for the second time, but not ruled out.
Up a total of 16lb for winning three of his last four, the latest a Uttoxeter chase over a similar trip. 11lb rise makes him vulnerable now, but that is not to say that his great run will end here.
Promising hurdles effort at Huntingdon in March, but well held last twice, including on handicap debut. Drops 3lb and steps up in trip, but more needed.
Without a win for over two years, but could give him a chance on his best efforts. Needs to hurdle more fluently, but if he can then he could make an impact after another 2lb drop.
Beaten favourite on both his last two starts, including when dropped to a lower grade last time. Plenty to prove.
Forecasts
Polished Rock (11/4), Our Reward (3/1), Mamoo (3/1), Scooby (4/1), Arthur's Reuben (9/1), Max Liebermann (16/1), Brown Bear (20/1)
The in-form POLISHED ROCK is beginning to look vulnerable, but may be capable of eeking out another win in a race that does not look the strongest on paper. Scooby has a bit to prove given his record, despite winning last time, and Our Reward may prove a bigger danger, granted a better round of jumping. Mamoo is another of interest if on a 'going' day.
