Doesn't win many but was found a suitable opportunity at Hereford last time and despite trying to duck out at the last, won cosily once straightened out. 8lb rise for that is plenty, though, as it was weak, and he may need to find more here.
Has slipped a long way in the handicap but signs at Uttoxeter last time that he might be on the way back, as he shaped a bit better than the bare result. Has had another break since then but yard ticking along nicely and he has chances.
With a top yard but hasn't shown a lot as yet, although it is early days, and he now goes handicapping on a low enough mark to improve from. Showed a little more last time and could easily prove a cut above these yet.
Couple of wins in Jersey to his name this year, recent efforts here had been less encouraging until a staying-on third over C&D last time out. That was a step in the right direction, at least, so with conditions fine, may play a part.

Forecasts
Dovils Date (15/8), Cahill (2/1), Guard Of Honour (2/1), Arty Campbell (5/2), Bubble O'Clock (6/1), Troy Dee Knee (25/1)
Guard Of Honour came good in the week and has obvious chances of following that up but there must be a chance this race will come too soon, and preference is for DOVILS DATE, who looks handicapped to win again soon and with the Tim Vaughan yard among the winners, might be the one to be with here. Cahill gave indication he could be on the way back to better form last time too, and can play a part.
