Looked beaten before three out on chasing debut in a Downpatrick beginners contest earlier this month. May need more time.
Solid 151-rated Grade 1 hurdler who is expected to be well prepped for his chasing debut. Striking yard figures of a 47% win and place strike rate at this meeting in the last three seasons.
Has yet to complete over fences following a couple of hiccups since July, but worth a check in the market with the yard holding a 46% win and place strike rate at this meeting since 2015.
Modest in a couple of point-to-point starts and a €110,000 but as a three-year-old. Watching brief in this contest.
Still in contention on chasing debut when falling two out at Limerick earlier this month. Market to be informative.
Resectable 104-rated handicap hurdler. Solid 21% strike rate for the yard at this meeting in the last three years with a 57% win and place strike rate in the same period.
Course winner that has also won over the trip. Admissible 132-rated hurdler though form did tail off around the turn of the year. Well held on three chase starts to date and best avoided.
Beaten before three out on chasing debut at Tipperary when last seen in May on soft ground over 2m7f. Improvement needed.
Expected to run better on her disappointing chase debut at Downpatrick earlier this month and possibly needs more time. Yard hold a 47% win and place strike rate at this meeting in the last three seasons.
Forecasts
Blow By Blow (4/7), Dorans River (5/1), Chateau Conti (8/1), Mon Lino (11/1), Guided By You (12/1), Touch Base (16/1), Returntovendor (25/1), All Good Things (25/1), Connard (25/1)
The Gordon Elliott-trained BLOW BY BLOW was a solid Grade 3 winning hurdler last season and eventually coming up against the likes of Next Destination and Jetz. The Seven-year-old can see off the challenge of Dorans River who can develop from his hiccup on chasing debut earlier this month. Chateau Conti and All Good Things can battle for the minor honours.
