Returned from a break with an easy win on handicap debut at Bath. Up 8lb but likely more to come with an eye-catching jockey booking.

Bits of promise on five starts for David Simcock and returned form a near year absence for a good effort on stable debut. Down in grade and could be spot on for this.

Generally consistent after sole win at Kempton in April until two very poor runs. Better in a claimer last time but others preferred back in a handicap.

Verdict

Amitie Waltz has plenty more to offer at this level after making an immediate impression in handicap company. French Mix likewise has to be considered following her latest win while Collodi is on a good mark returning from hurdling. PRESS GANG has yet to win a race but has been given a serious chance by the handicapper with this turf mark. His main danger could be War Brigade who made a decent impression first time for a stable who do so well with their imports from other yards.
  1. Press Gang
  2. War Brigade
  3. Amitie Waltz
