Verdict

Thought enough of to contest the Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp in May before finishing runner-up in the Irish 1,000 guineas and bagging a third in the Jersey stakes at Royal Ascot, COULD IT BE LOVE could take some stopping if recapturing some early season dash. The Mick Halford yard hold a 41% win and place strike rate with runners here late October/early November since 2015 and their mare Surrounding can grab a place here along with another O'Brien runner, Most Gifted. Beaten ¾L over C&D 12-months ago Belle Boyd should not be easily dismissed.
