Poet's Voice colt, bred for speed and purchased for £24,000 as a yearling. Well held in a couple of starts at 6f/7f to date, looking to need the experience. One for handicaps in all likelihood.
Dam was a Listed winner over 1m for connections, and this is her first foal, by Dansili. Yard's newcomers tend to need experience, but needs a market check nonetheless.
Homebred gelding from family of smart performer Forte dei Marmi. Has needed both runs so far, and is the type to fare much better in handicaps with another outing under his belt.
Iffraaj half-brother to several winners, and cost 450,000 gns as a yearling Only eighth of 10 to Rajinsky in a 7f maiden at Sandown in August, but caught the eye, and likely to do much better in due course.
Farhh colt out of a three-time 7f winner. Very green when well held in 7f novice at Salisbury early this month, but sure to do better as the penny drops.
Full-brother to 7f-1m5f winner Tenzing Norgay and half-brother to useful 1m5f-2m winner Kashgar from family of Ormonde Stakes winner Asian Heights. Well held on both starts, and won't improve until tackling further as a 3-y-o.
Better effort to date when sixth of 12 to Azano in a 7f novice event at Yarmouth 11 days ago. Turned out fairly quickly, and gives impression he'll only bloom when handicapping.
Related to plenty of winners, with the pick of his half-siblings being Free Handicap winner Ibn Malik. Already gelded, which adds a note of caution on debut.
Well-related son of Exceed And Excel who is already gelded, but showed plenty when second of 11 to Myrmidons in a 7f novice at Redcar on recent debut. Knew his job there, but should still improve.
Gelded son of Mukhadram who was tailed off after a slow start on debut at Haydock a week ago, and makes no appeal whatsoever on that showing.
Cape Cross half-brother to ungenuine 5f/6f winner Kerrys Requiem and 1m½f winner My Body Is A Cage. Limited appeal on paper for yard with just one 2-y-o winner in recent seasons.
Cheap purchase who offered little when last of 10 on debut at Wolverhampton (7f) earlier in the month, and can't be fancied on the back of that effort.
Forecasts
Forest Of Dean (6/5), Motawaj (9/2), Derevo (5/1), Regular (7/1), Ernest Aldrich (12/1), Nassam (16/1), Hermocrates (20/1), Yorkshire Flyer (33/1), Charlie's Boy (50/1), Tabou Beach Boy (100/1), Millers Creek (200/1), Lady Monica (200/1)
REGULAR was pretty clued up when second to Myrmidons at Redcar, but should still benefit from the experience, and gets the nod in a race lacking significant depth. Forest of Dean caught the eye despite finishing down the pack on debut, and is a danger with significant progress in the offing, with Derevo an interesting newcomer to note.
