Proved a big eyecatcher on Newmarket debut and while she didn't improve when second at Nottingham last time, she again shaped as if capable of better, and has been found a good opportunity here.
Made a solid start, finishing third over C&D on debut and second at Thirsk in August. Disappointed dropped to 7f last time, however, and needs to build on initial promise.
Unraced dam has produced several winners from 6f-1m4f, and this homebred daughter of Zoffany represents a powerful yard, so merits a market check on debut.
Lope de Vega half-sister to smart 1m-1m2f winner Sky Kingdom and useful 1m2f winner Tranquil Star. Represents a yard in fine form at present, and looks most interesting of the newcomers.
By Galileo out of a half-sister to French Guineas winner Aussie Rules, and cost 280,000 gns as a yearling. Couple of siblings to race haven't been anything out of the ordinary, however.
Australia half-sister to useful 1m4f-1m7f winner Only A Pleasure out of a half-sister to French 1000 Guineas winner Valentine Waltz. Representing powerful connections, and market should guide on racecourse bow.
Improved on modest debut effort when fifth of 12 to Nearooz in a 7f maiden at Newmarket last time, shaping better than the bare result. Should continue to progress, and not taken lightly.
No impact in two starts to date at Ayr and Musselburgh, and one for low-grade handicaps in time.
New Approach filly out of 1000 Guineas third Alasha, and half-sister to 7f Group 3 winner Alanza among others. Showed ability when mid-field over extended 1m at Nottingham last week, but likely to need more time.
Daughter of Iffraaj who was a cheap purchase at just 5,000 gns. Well beaten on debut over 7f here in August, and of little interest again.
Forecasts
Ambling (5/4), Dancing Vega (5/2), Just My Type (7/1), Ghaziyah (11/1), Blue Gardenia (12/1), Gracefully Done (14/1), Catalogue (33/1), Shamameya (50/1), She's Awake (100/1), Royal Countess (200/1)
AMBLING has shown plenty in a couple of starts to date, and looks to have been found a good opening here. Just My Type looks her main danger on form, but there's plenty to like about Dancing Vega on paper, and she looks an interesting debutante for her in-form yard.
