Arrives bidding for a hat-trick after wins in novice chase company at Southwell and Worcester but got lucky in the latter race when the leader fell at the last. Plenty on his plate here. Wears first-time blinkers.
Won on chase debut at Cartmel and while he fell next time out, he bounced back to form at Sedgefield last time out. Jumped right that day and wouldn't want to do that around here. Needs to improve.
Dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles when trained by Willie Mullins and won his first two starts over fences early in the summer, jumping impressively on both starts. Very interesting contender here.
Jumping has improved since his chase debut and won twice earlier in the summer. Form of the latest effort behind Caid Du Lin looks solid and arrives on better terms with that rival this time around.
Placed in Listed class over hurdles and has made a promising start to live over fences, beating One For Billy by 1¾L at Worcester before finishing runner-up at Sedgefield last time. May struggle to confirm the Worcester form on worse terms here.
Came good towards the end of last season with wins over C&D and at Warwick when last seen. This is tougher though and entitled to need the run on her seasonal return.
Won twice on soft ground over hurdles last season and not disgraced on chase debut when fifth of eight at Uttoxeter. May need the run on return though and needs to prove himself on this ground.
Forecasts
Diakali (9/4), One For Billy (7/2), Caid Du Lin (9/2), Storm Home (5/1), Sister Sibyl (8/1), Dear Sire (9/1), All Set To Go (16/1)
DIAKALI looks like a nice prospect for Gary Moore this year and the nine-year-old has made an impressive start to life over fences with wins at Fontwell and most recently Newton Abbot. Provided the 133-day absence doesn't find him out, he could be hard to beat in his belated hat-trick bid despite a step up in class. One For Billy is taken to reverse the Worcester form with Caid Du Lin from last time out when only beaten by a short margin and the son of the late Midnight Legend finds himself on 7lb better terms with his rival this time around.
