In fine form since returning this summer and arrives bidding for his fourth win in five starts. No signs his progress was coming to a halt at Kelso last time when sticking to his task well and fast ground will suit here.
Ended a near four-year losing streak across both codes when winning at Huntingdon and followed up at Aintree next time out. Unseated when last seen over hurdles but fit from a recent spin on the Flat. Needs a career best.
Has been running well in defeat since winning his maiden hurdle win at Down Royal earlier in the year. Proven on this sort of ground and the booking of Geraghty can be seen as a positive.
Had shaped with plenty of promise in a pair of bumpers and he was impressive on his first start over timber when winning at Uttoxeter earlier in the month in a maiden hurdle. Can race keenly and has more on his plate here but can't be ruled out.
Point-to-point winner who got his head in front at Chepstow last time on his third start over hurdles. Likely to improve for the step up in trip here and more likely than some to appreciate this sort of ground.
Looked a shade lucky at Market Rasen last time when he was the only finisher and he has plenty on his plate here on return from an absence.
Bumper winner who has made a good start to life over obstacles with wins at Newtown Abbot and Stratford and looked in need of a step up in trip when beaten at odds-on at Perth last time. May do better here.
Rattled off a four-timer towards the end of the summer and only found one too good in a Listed race at Gowran Park two starts back. Ran okay on chase debut last time and warrants respect back in this sphere.
Forecasts
Canardier (6/4), Go Another One (5/2), Make My Heart Fly (7/1), Rocco (11/1), Grageelagh Girl (14/1), Net De Treve (16/1), Havana Beat (16/1), Sizing Cusimano (25/1)
With Nigel Twiston Davies' yard in such excellent form at present, it might be worth taking a chance on ROCCO who looks sure to appreciate a step up in trip here after his run at Chepstow last time out where he was outpaced before staying on well to gain his first win under Rules. The son of Shantou will be better suited to the quick ground than most in here and has fitness on his side. Go Another One arrives in fine form with three wins from his last four starts and while the six-year-old will find this tougher, he's another runner who will have no issue with conditions. Gordon Elliot's mare Make My Heart Fly should be competitive after a respectable run in Listed class two starts back.
- Rocco
