Pushed along over 3f out, never nearer behind eventual winner Neverushacon at Gowran Park over 1m6f earlier this month. Others look more convincing at this level.

Four solid runs of late on varying ground and although without a win since 2016 when trained by Sir Mark Prescott, he comes here deserving a change in luck.

Well held over hurdles recently and suffered a shuddering 25L defeat in a Gowran Park handicap over 1m1½f at Gowran Park last month. May find it tough going here.

By Sea The Stars out of a Holy Roman Emperor mare. Not disgraced on four career starts to date but likely to find one or two better handicapped sorts lurking.

Will look to improve on handicap debut when finishing a promising eighth of 12 beaten a little over 5L in May. Will have needed the run on return to action last month and looks a leading contender here.

Hurdling running well in defeat recently but dual Flat winner at up to 1m5f and likely to go well here now back on a winning mark.

Nine time winner finished a good second over 1m7f at Leopardstown in July. Beaten since but can go well at a price in this company.

Teologia4
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-8| J: Rory Cleary| T: J S Bolger| OR:  58
10/1
Nothing of note in her last three starts since last month, well beaten over 10L on each occasion. Likely to struggle in these conditions.

Forecasts

Los Alamos (6/4), Hey Little Boy (4/1), Shadagann (6/1), Teologia (10/1), Our Rachael (11/1), Mystique Heights (14/1), Lost Comet (16/1), Magna Cartor (20/1), Eagle Crag (20/1), Pivot Bridge (25/1), Zinat (66/1)

Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien-trained LOS ALAMOS for owner J P McManus wouldn't have to improve much to land a blow here adding to his sole win in 11 races under rules. The five-year-old can take the closing race with Our Rachel, the Willie Mullins-trained, Hey Little Boy and gallant veteran, Pivot Bridge, battling for the minor honours.
  1. Los Alamos
  2. Hey Little Boy
  3. Pivot Bridge
