Soft ground winner over 2m1f in a novices handicap hurdle at Carlisle last November. Fair efforts twice subsequently and worth a betting check on his chase and seasonal debut. (Pulled out of a fast ground engagement at Wincanton earlier this month.)

Fair record over hurdles so far; one win from seven starts and handles give in the ground. Three starts over fences have been encouraging without setting the world alight. More required here but going the right way.

Winner of a very modest maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter in June and made no impact to subsequent starts (took a tired fall over 2m4f last time out). Had the speed to win a couple of bumpers but has plenty to prove now he steps up to the larger obstacles.

Consistent over hurdles and the drop back to the minimum distance is probably a good move for the gelding's debut over fences. One to bear for a place in mind if the market vibes are positive. (Yard won this corresponding race last year.)

An interesting recruit who fared reasonably well in a couple of point-to-points after leaving Willie Mullins in Ireland. Two starts over hurdles in Britain have also been promising and he's an interesting recruit to larger obstacles.

Well held in all starts under rules so far; has experience of point-to-points so feasible the switch to fences can bring some improvement. Big step forward required though.

Average handicapper on the Flat (best form posted on the AW surfaces) but has won over hurdles (2m, good ground) at Market Rasen. That win was back in 2015 though and subsequent starts were much less impressive. Vulnerable to a less exposed type.

Didn't show much in two starts for Paul Nicholls but made a better imnpression on hurdling debut for his current yard at Wincanton back in March. Lightly raced since then and looks a chaser in the making. One to bear in mind; can go well fresh.

Useful on the Flat at his best but is 0-8 over hurdles and well held last time out, which was his first start after a wind operation. The drop in trip may help but plenty to prove on chasing debut.

An inconsistent gelding that has run more poor races than good ones. Did manage a win over hurdles in May but reverted to type with two modest efforts afterwards. Plenty to prove on chase debut.

Not achieved much over fences so far but jumping is sound enough to expect he'll be capable of giving his rider a safe conveyance. Needs to improve his speed between the obstacles if he's going to trouble the judge though.

Still a maiden and only hinted at ability in three starts over hurdles. Well held in five previous chases and would be a surprising turnaround in form if the gelding were to prove good enough to get off the mark here.

Very modest form over hurdles up to press but possible he'll do better now he goes chasing. His new trainer is very adept at getting the best out of novices but this fellow may still be a work in progress.

A lowly-rated individual who seems to have lost his way at present. Pulled up last time out and hard to recommend on recent evidence.

Forecasts

All Is Good (4/1), Cybalko (5/1), Chozen (11/2), On Raglan Road (13/2), Chatelier (9/1), Getonsam (9/1), Silent Account (16/1), Amirr (16/1), Scrafton (20/1), Primogeniture (20/1), Great Fairy (20/1), Cap St Vincent (33/1), Chateau Chinon (80/1), Benissimo (100/1)

Verdict

ALL IS GOOD looks capable of taking the opening race on the card. The selection was progressing well over hurdles and he can get the better of On Raglan Road who can finish runner-up on his chase debut. Third place can go to Cap St Vincent who has gone well fresh in the past.
