Only Gorgeous111
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-12| J: Lucy Gardner(3)| T: Mrs S Gardner| OR:  104| D
12/1
Nicely weighted on his best form but he has failed to take advantage of a declining mark on recent starts. As an Exeter specialist there must be a doubt this quicker track will help.
2
Horse silk
Whin Park168
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-11| J: R Johnson| T: B Pauling| OR:  103| D
6/4
Back-to-back point winner in April 2018, but remains a nine-race maiden under rules; fair third (beaten 9¾L) to Kings Temptation five months ago and the jockey booking looks interesting.
3
Horse silk
Sutter's Mill126
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-6| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR:  98| D
11/4
Thorough stayer who has not been at his best in recent starts. Regular headgear absent and conditions unlikely to be soft enough.
4
Horse silk
Pembroke Housep170
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-5| J: R Patrick(3)| T: S-J Davies| OR:  97| CD
15/2
Landed his first race in 30 months when taking advantage of an idling rival over C&D in May. Consistent veteran that he is, a record of 3-43 makes a follow up look less likely.
5
Horse silk
Midnight Gem9
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-12| J: Paul O'Brien(5)| T: Mrs S Leech| OR:  90
13/2
Sole win in 31 starts came almost two years ago. Mark has been declining without looking ready to stage a revival.
6
Horse silk
Mister Mister9
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-8| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: D L Williams| OR:  86| D
6/1
Took a poor Worcester hurdle (2m7f) in September 2017; has achieved little of note in eight starts over fences, but has dropped 9lb in the weights since being introduced to handicap company in August.

Forecasts

Whin Park (6/4), Sutter's Mill (11/4), Mister Mister (6/1), Midnight Gem (13/2), Pembroke House (15/2), Only Gorgeous (12/1)

Verdict

Few of this make much appeal at the odds they are likely to be traded. The track may not be testing enough for Only Gorgeous and Sutter's Mill will need rain. Mister Mister and Midnight Gem are slipping down the weights with good cause, whilst Pembroke House may run his usual honest race but was a shade fortunate last time to collar a faltering rival. WHIN PARK is a young horse who is yet to reproduce his point-to-point form under rules. This fast track and the services of the champion jockey may be enough to gain due reward.
  1. Whin Park
  2. Only Gorgeous
  3. Pembroke House
