This easier than her previous chasing assignments and looks nicely weighted. However, just 1-21 so far and meets race fit rivals.
Down to a more realistic mark here following a lacklustre display here last time. Up in distance which will offset her lack of pace and any rain would enhance her prospects.
Mixed form over hurdles and pulled up on sole chase start. Produced one of her better efforts last time and she is a proven stayer. Yard's horses have been running a lot better and cannot discount in a weak race.
Down the field in a poor race last week and she needs to return her form of mid-summer to have any hope of gaining a first success at the 21st time of asking.
Forecasts
Marienstar (11/8), Psychocandy (2/1), Barton Rose (5/1), Hollow Park (6/1)
Just the four runners for this and none have particularly strong clams. Marienstar concedes a fitness advantage, although her yard are going well and any market confidence would make her appealing as she does have the best form and looks the best handicapped runner. BARTON ROSE gets a tentative vote in the hope that her rider's claim and the step up to 3m can see her rebound from a dismal display last time as her prior efforts would be good enough. Hollow Park is hard to predict at the best of times and that is even more difficult now chasing, whilst Psychocandy squandered an even easer opportunity than this last week.
- Barton Rose
- Marienstar
- Hollow Park
