Improved on debut effort at Dundalk when 7L third to Third of March over 6f here last time with blinkers fitted. Should improve again, but strictly held by stablemate Western Frontier on that form.
Acclamation half-brother to regressive maiden Angelique, out of a French maiden. Makes limited appeal on paper.
No Nay Never colt out of multiple fibresand winner Hannahs Turn. Hinted at ability when down the field over 7f at the Curragh in August, and may be suited by drop in trip here. Tongue tie retained.
Better effort in 6f maidens here when third to Archaeology on debut, but beat the others well enough when 5½L second of 19 to Third of March here last time, and should go very close in what looks a weaker race.
Dandy Man half-sister to G1 6f winner Peniaphobia. Needed the run when seventh of 10 to Rockview Spirit in maiden at Down Royal, and sure to do better.
Better effort to date when sixth of 14 in an extended 6f maiden at Cork last time, and better than the bare result there, but needs this for a handicap mark, and that's where her future lies.
Alhebayeb half-sister to 6f winner Lady Dancealot, but picked up very cheaply as a foal, and fitting of a tongue-tie on debut doesn't inspire confidence.
Has shown a degree of promise in two starts so far, but well behind a pair of these when sixth of 19 here last time, and another who will have much better opportunities when sent handicapping.
First foal of a longstanding low-grade maiden, although grand-dam was a multiple winner over sprint trips for this owner. Appears an unlikely winner on racecourse bow.
Related to winners, but could beat only two rivals in 6f maiden here won by Third of March on debut, and held by various reopposing rivals now.
Sire is proving an unlikely success at stud, but this filly has looked very moderate in a couple of starts so far.
Seemingly exposed after eight starts, but is gradually improving with experience, and latest second of 13 to Winiata in maiden at Limerick represents her best effort. Hard to kick her out of the frame.
Forecasts
Western Frontier (13/8), Captainofthebounty (2/1), That's Not Me (6/1), Recovery Road (6/1), Cartron (12/1), Born Invincible (33/1), Fanny Blankers (33/1), Countess Matilda (33/1), Beau Warrior (50/1), Annabelle Rock (66/1), Precious Design (66/1), Beyabehla (66/1)
WESTERN FRONTIER was a tad disappointing when second here last time, but he might have caught a bit of a tartar there, and can make it third time lucky. Captainofthebounty was a place behind the selection last time, and is entitled to improve, so looks a threat, with That's Not Me also considered despite the fact that she's fully exposed in comparison.
- Western Frontier
- Captainofthebounty
