Big Bad Bob filly cost just 2,000gns as a yearling as the first foal out of an unraced sister to a useful 1m2f flat and 2m-2m4f hurdle winner Thorpe. Trainer only had one two-year-old runner this season (unplaced) so best watched on debut.
Dawn Approach filly cost £70,000 at the Sales in April. Half-sister to a 1m-1m4½f winner out of an unplaced dam who only raced at two. Trainer has his share of two-year-old success so market support would be interesting.

Daughter of Sir Percy bought for 37,000 gns at the sales last October. Half-sister to a number of winners and sure to improve on a debut which gives her plenty to find but best watched again here.
Newcomer by top first-season sire Australia is a half-sister to three winners including a useful 6f to 1m½f winner out of a Listed placed dam. Trainer's two-year-olds tend to progress for first race but pedigree is appealing.

Newcomer by Frankel is the first foal out of a 1m-1m4f winner including at two and Listed level. Very appealing pedigree and represents top trainer who has plenty of two-year-old successes including first time out.

Never involved on debut at Chelmsford earlier this month over a likely inadequate 6f where she raced greenly. Step up to 1m will help on pedigree but tough to fancy nevertheless.

40,000gns yearling by Lawman is a half-sister to a 1m-1m1f winner including at two and at Group Three level in Italy out of a useful middle distance dam. Trainer's two-year-olds tend to need time and pedigree suggests so here.

Invincible Spirit newcomer is the first foal out of a 1m2f winning half-sister to a Group Two winner herself out of a dual 1000 Guineas winner. Beautifully bred and represents all-conquering champion trainer so highly respected.

Debutant by super-sire Dubawi is a half-sister to three winners including smart two-year-old Town Charter out of a Group Three winning dam. Top trainer more than capable of readying them first time out so rates a leading player.

Four moderate efforts to date leave plenty to be desired with latest seventh of 10 at 100/1 at Chelmsford a rough gauge of her ability. Impossible to fancy.

Forecasts

Frankellina (5/4), Summer Flair (5/2), Oussel Falls (11/2), Geizy Teizy (12/1), Ample Plenty (12/1), Dinah Washington (18/1), Cafe Espresso (33/1), Too Many Lovers (100/1), Alyx Vance (100/1), Freedom's Breath (150/1)

Verdict

With little form to go off debutants from three of the top yards in the country make the most appeal. OUSSEL FALLS gets the vote for champion trainer John Gosden and her pedigree is full of high class performers. Summer Flair is well bred also and quite speedily so which is a positive for Charlie Appleby. Frankellina may come into her own next season but her dam won at two and William Haggas' newcomers are always respected.
  1. Oussel Falls
  2. Summer Flair
  3. Frankellina
