Half-brother to four winners including the 1m AW scorer Deglet Noor; 16/1 when making a winning debut at Ascot (7f) in September, beating Repaupo by a head; mixed messages as to the worth of that form but looks open to further improvement.
€42,000 yearling; produced an improved effort on his second start at Ayr (1m, soft) last month when finishing seventh of 11 to Lariat (100/1); probably one for the future rather than the present.
60,000gns foal; raced enthusiastically on debut over 6f here last week finishing sixth of 12 to Jack Berry House; certain to benefit for that initial experience (green), and bred to appreciate this longer trip.
Stablemate of Starter; son of Derby winner Sir Percy; has started at big prices on both starts so far (7f-1m) and hasn't looked to be the sharpest of tools; most unlikely.
Stablemate of Percy's Prince; Sea The Stars gelding and a half-brother to the stayers Newt (1m5f Flat) and The Tiddly Tadpole (2m-2m1f hurdle); 66/1 when a keeping on ninth of 11 (green) to fair yardstick Buffalo River on debut at Kempton (7f).
Third foal out of a maiden dam who was a half-sister to the 6f Listed juvenile winner Queen's Grace; stable supplied the 80/1 winning newcomer Jack Berry House here last week.
First foal of a 5f Fibresand winner (Ysper); back from a four month break when finishing a head second to 40/1 shot Millions Memories at Yarmouth (7f) in September (third, seventh and tenth have all won since); AW debut.
Fifth foal; half-sister to the 1m-1m4f AW winner Ligeti; receives the fillies allowance from all bar one of her rivals on debut, with the market expected to holds the necessary clues regarding her chance.
9,000gns yearling; fifth foal out of the maiden Scorn (7f-1m2f); half-sister to a couple of winners including AW winner Frown (1m2f-1m4f).
Forecasts
Turjomaan (8/13), Wiretap (2/1), High Contrast (11/1), Dream Chick (14/1), Beechwood Jude (20/1), Uh Oh Chongo (33/1), Feebi (40/1), Starter (40/1), Percy's Prince (100/1)
Wiretap started 9/2 for debut at Yarmouth (6f) in May, but was too green to do himself justice that afternoon and returned from a four month break a much stronger horse when beaten a neck by Millions Memories. With that 7f Yarmouth form-line working out incredibly well, he is massively respected for a trainer who is a regular source of Newcastle winners (17-100; 17%). However, there also looks to be plenty more to come from the penalised top-weight TURJOMAAN. His 7f Ascot debut form has also generated winners (notably Faro Angel), and there's every likelihood that the runner up Repaupo bumped into a smart rival when turned over at short odds at Wolverhampton recently.
