The least exposed runner is the returning Iskabeg Lane, and the market can provide some clues as to his level of fitness, but he looks to be the type capable of winning more races as the season progresses. Inchholm has joined a trainer who is forging a strong reputation for winners, and a 3lb rise for his 3m Hexham win (for Micky Hammond) hasn't held him back since, so with Brian Hughes booked is interesting. However, at more rewarding odds both My Wigwam Or Yours (ran well at Hexham) and the course winner LOVE THE LEADER are attractively weighted on distant form, with the latter getting the nod in the hope that his fencing stands up to scrutiny.
