Verdict

THE TIN MAN is a rock solid contender who was impressive when winning the Sprint Cup in similar ground to what he will get here when last seen at Haydock. The gelding has an excellent record here, a winner of this in 2016 and he's more like than most to run his race. Harry Angel comes here with questions to answer but he couldn't be ruled out if putting his best foot forward. Son Of Rest makes some appeal from an each-way perspective given his liking for conditions, as seen when dead-heating in the Ayr Gold Cup on heavy ground last time.
