Returning from a break when finishing runner-up over C&D on good ground in May. Cheekpieces return here following a break having pulled up in a visor at Ffos Las (3m, good) later that month.
Winner of a soft ground handicap chase over 3m at Uttoxeter at the end of July. Disappointed last time out however and looking to return to form.
Handicap mark is falling following some heavy defeats but shaped with promise despite being beaten 24L over an extended 2m5f at Market Rasen (good) three weeks ago. Worth a check in the market back up in trip.
Decent fourth over 2m5f at Newton Abbot (good) at the start of June. Absent since and finished a good third off this mark over C&D on heavy ground in December last year.
Held in three runs since finishing third over 2m7f at Worcester (good) in July. Races off a mark 4lb higher than when victorious at Uttoxeter (3m2f, good) the previous month. Tongue tie returns having been left off the last twice.
Not beaten far when finishing fourth over an extended 3m5f at Market Rasen (good-to-firm) in June. Returning from a break and stamina to prove over this distance.
Bidding to complete a hat-trick following two wins on good ground over 2m4f at Huntingdon. Came home 17L clear of his rivals earlier this month but he has to defy a 12lb rise in the weights if he's to take this contest.
