Intersting pedigree for this sort of trip but he made very little impact on debut at Ayr last week and already has improvement to find. Gelded since and a lot to prove at present.
Post two unimpressive efforts so far and makes limited appeal on the evidence of those outings. At least qualifies for a handicap amrk after this but needs a big step forward if he's going to break out of the bottom grade.

Shown flashes of ability and has already faced a stronger calibre of opponent that the majority here. Solid chance of getting off the mark in a weak race like this.

Showed early speed before fading tamely on debut at Haydock last month; never a factor when upped to an extended 7f at Beverley a fortnight later and now has a lot to prove. Others more appealing.

Has experience of racing on soft ground but has achieved a very modest rating of just 54 after the mandatory three starts and is another who needs to up his game considerably. The drop into a claimer may help but big improvement still required.

Comes here after an improved effort when tried in a handicap for the first time (finished fourth of nine at Ayr at the start of this month). Drops in trip and grade but feasible to suggest the filly could be a factor if taking a step forward.

Improved effort on the AW last time out but has a bit to prove now dropping back in trip on a much slower surface. Also lacks consistency and looks a risky option for the time being.

Made the frame once from 10 previous starts and had her limitations exposed in a seller at Wolverhampton last time out. Only snippets of ability and needs everything to go her way to figure here.

Improve effort on the AW last time out made a mockery of her starting price (66/1) and possible the filly can use that as a platform to force her way into the argument. One to bear in mind if the market vibes are positive.

Hard to recommend after four poor efforts up to press; tried in blinkers when upped to this trip last time out but all to no avail. Huge improvement required and best watched.

Has winners in her pedigree (Jack The Lard, 5f, and Intense Effort, 1m) and wouldn't have to be up to much to prove herself as the best option of her stable's pair of representatives; yard not noted for pitching debutantes at this level, though.

Likes to race with the pace and sellers and claimers is the right level for her on the evidence available. Can down tools when headed but uis well drawn and has a feasible chance at the weights if allowed a soft lead. Worth considering.

Verdict

Trainer Richard Fahey won the 2016 renewal of this race and has a decent chance of repeating the (minor) feat with COGNAC BLUE, who has generally fared well against stronger opponents than he faces today and he can get the card off to a good start for his North Yorkshire-based handler. Improvising is forwarded as the main danger ahead of Go Annie Go, who lacks consistency but has been given every chance at the weights and is worth considering as an alternative. Her stablemate Shescominghome can also have a say if she strides out with any purpose. Each-way support for Tres Exigeant would add further intrigue.
