Made all to score on his hurdling debut at Huntingdon in May, doing it with some authority. Carries a penalty, but looks open to improvement and will take some stopping on this field.
Has shown some promise in a couple of bumpers. From a family of winners over both hurdles and fences, so looks bred to make a respectable start to his hurdling career.
Dual AW winner over 1m4f last winter. Received support before an 11½L fifth on his hurdles debut at Warwick last month. Should step up on that and a more competitive run looks on the cards.
Scored on debut in a bumper at Uttoxeter in July but found a penalty on good to soft a bit too much next time. Disappointed on his hurdles debut at Uttoxeter in October and arrives with a bit to prove.
Forecasts
Mon Port (2/9), Fearsome (5/1), We've Got Payet (11/1), Let's Get At It (16/1), Bagan (20/1), Tenor (25/1)
With three runners in the line-up and Richard Johnson booked for MON PORT, it is not a difficult call to make to side with the penalised runner among Olly Murphy's trio. He won well enough last time to suggest that he will have too much for this field. Fearsome and Bagan look the most interesting of the remainder.
