Returned from a seven month break to run a cracker at Chepstow in June but below that on return from a break. Presumably has had her issues and perhaps worth waiting till she gets back on soft ground.

Bids for a hat-trick following wins over this distance at Nottingham and doing well to win over 7f at Leicester. No penalty and should have more to offer back up in trip. Rates a leading hope.

Back on last winning mark and did race well enough over this C&D three runs back. Slow pace two starts ago and distance last time were valid excuses and could do better back here.

Has really progressed with back-to-back wins over 1m4f at this course. Up 8lb but won with loads in hand last time and looks sure to go close.

Twice a C&D winner and three of his four wins have come over this distance. In form with two seconds over further and should be involved back in trip.

Yet to add to two wins at the end of last season despite being on a good mark. Needs to bounce back from three disappointing runs.

Six-race maiden who didn't really improve on first try at this distance and plenty of progress required to be involved.

10-race maiden who has been a beaten favourite in two of her last three starts. Disappointing effort at Bath and although trip and ground may help, his stable are quiet at present.

Came close to adding to sole success when running on well after encountering traffic problems over a mile. That was a weak contest but he will be suited by this trip.

In good form with a win and two thirds and just found the mile against him at Bath. Suited by return to this trip and should go well again.

Won over a mile here last year but has been nowhere near that level in four runs this season and is looking regressive.

Yet to place in 10 starts over a variety of distances and little promise to be taken in first two runs for this stable.

Slowly away and never got involved in all three starts for Clive Cox and tailed off on first run for new trainer. Easy to dismiss.

Verdict

Two horses bidding for a hat-trick stand out with preference for CHANNEL PACKET who gets to race off the same mark as his latest win over a trip that is ideal. Kirkland Forever is an obvious danger but may be less suited by the distance. Windsorlot is respected over this C&D as is Tommys Geal who is in good heart. Altaira can't be dismissed back up to this distance.
