- Buck House Novice Chase (Grade 3) (Class 1)
- 2m 2f 140y,
- 6 Runners
- Surface: Turf
Showing excellent form so far over fences, with three wins and two placed efforts already. Stays this far and landed Grade 3 novice over 2m½f at Roscommon last time. Should be right in there pitching again.
Useful chaser, has won around here before, behind Ornua the last twice, including 3¾L second at Roscommon in Grade 3 novice over 2m½f latest. Gets 3lb from that rival now.
Has won his last three starts, twice over fences before 1m5f soft-ground Ayr handicap score on the Flat last week. Champion jockey booked, though surely has something to find with top pair on the racecard.
Promising hurdling career of two years ago failed to materialise with trainer-Alan King. Easy winner of 2m2f soft-ground beginners' chase at Galway on second start for this handler last month and entitled to take chance here on strength of that.
Twice won over fences earlier in the season, though has ground to make up with Ornua and Cadmium on recent Roscommon run.
Grade 3-winning juvenile hurdler last term at Fairyhouse (2m, soft), pulled up in Fred Winter at Cheltenham before going well again at Fairyhouse in April. Would have made winning start over fences at Gowran Park 11 days ago bar final fence fall.
