Bated Breath colt whose dam is from a family that includes listed winners. Ran as though he'd improve for the experience on debut but has plenty still to find.
Son of Sepoy fetched £47,000 at last years sales but was green and tailed off on debut over 7f. Hard to make a case for dropped to this minimum trip.

In the frame in a weak event at Catterick and has since disappointed twice. Returns from handicap company and others preferred.

Comfortably won a Yarmouth novice over 5f on her third start before racing too freely when second upped to 6f at the same venue. Not disgraced at all in Listed company last time and looks a leading hope.

Maiden who has yet to place in six starts to date. Well held in handicap company the last twice and hard to make any sort of case for off these terms.

Has been well tried including in the Queen Mary and the Brocklesby but has shown a clear preference for a slower surface. Better last time at Leicester and with projected rain she rates a major player.

By Coach House out of an unraced mare and cost just 1,000 gns as a foal. Sent off huge odds and showed nothing on debut and best watched.

Bungle Inthejungle filly was possibly flattered in a slowly run race at Wolverhampton and has a huge amount to find after a well-beaten effort at Chepstow.

Arguably sets the standard on her best form but is proving very frustrating with seven places now from nine starts. Likely to be thereabouts again but isn't progressing and remains vulnerable.

Forecasts

Summer Blossom (2/1), Haats Off (7/2), Pink Iceburg (4/1), Raheeb (9/2), Deptford Mick (20/1), Tomahawk Ridge (25/1), King of The Ring (28/1), Glamorous Crescent (80/1), Messua (100/1), Sister's Act (100/1), Little Anxious (150/1)

Verdict

In a race lacking any depth it can be relied upon that Summer Blossom will run her race again but she's proving hard to win with and it's likely again that at least one rival will improve past her. The rain that has already arrived suits HAATS OFF and any more will really play into the hands of a filly who has real potential on soft surfaces. She's closely matched with Pink Iceburg who likewise has been highly-tried and remains open to plenty of improvement. Raheeb is an obvious danger for powerful connections on debut.
  1. Haats Off
  2. Pink Iceburg
  3. Summer Blossom
