Should pick up a race but this looks far from easy off top weight as stepping back up in trip. Eased 3lb following low key handicap debut but others are preferred.

Showed promise when fifth in fair race on debut at Windsor in May and clearly failed to stay 7f last two starts so drop back makes sense. Handicap debut off feasible mark and looks quite interesting.

Showed some ability on first two starts on AW, including when second on debut at Wolverhampton. Less pleasing when beating only one home in 15-runner event at Redcar last time so no surprise to see her back on the sand.

Flashes of ability in five starts to date and kept on over this trip when fourth at LIngfield last time. Might ideally prefer a greater test of stamina but should be keeping on late in the day.

Runs off same mark as when third at Chelmsford earlier this month where travelled well for a long way before fading. Probably needs to be produced late but looks one of the more hopeful contenders.

Finished fourth on second of three starts for previous connections in Ireland and has been backed on both starts in Britain for new handler. Drops back to 6f and may not be far away.

Placed three times from seven starts including close second in Newmarket 7f seller this summer. Third at Kemtpon 7f last time and drops back in trip here off 2lb lower mark. Good claimer takes 5lb off so has an each-way chance.

Born To Sea filly who looks no great shakes on evidence of first four career starts. Dropped 4lb since handicap bow last time and needs to seriously raise her game.

Daughter of Kodiac who has been disappointing in four starts so far for top yard. eased 2lb following underwhelming handicap bow last time and may struggle to get involved even off that mark.

Dawn Approach filly who looks only modest but ran OK last time when close third over 5f at Chelmsford last time. Debatable whether she will improve over extra furlong but has in-form young rider on board.

Verdict

With Oisin Murphy booked there is every chance that handicap debutante HANAKOTOBA may prove good enough having hinted at a little ability in maidens. In a modest event Nervous Nerys and Sunday Scholar come into the reckoning on recent efforts, while Fast Endevaour may not be far away if repeating last month's run here over further. Global Myth has been a massive flop so far but starts his handicap career on a very low mark and now would be a good time to show his €320,000 dollar price tag wasn't completely in vain.
