No immediate promise when tongue tied (retained here) on debut last mont.
Weak 8/1 shot on debut at Dundalk last week. Not knocked about and looks sure to benefit greatly for the experience. Blinkered here.

Well in rear in two starts to date and likely to need more time.

Horse silk

Not knocked about on debut last month but will need to improve plenty to take a hand here.

First foal. Dam a 5f winner. Trainer 5-55 with two-year-olds this year.

Finished well clear of the remainder when a very promising third behind a pair with experience here last month. The bare form gives him an obvious chance and improvement seems almost guaranteed.

Sent off just 4/1 on debut in July but well beaten eighth and only one winner has come from that race. Absent since but clearly better was expected.

Has shown ability at big prices in maidens but handicaps over further will see him in a better light.

Backed from 20/1 into 7/1 on Cork debut on Wednesday. Never figured after a tardy start then but clearly thought capable of better and worth keeping an eye on in the market.

Well beaten on both starts, the most recent a claimer. Hard to fancy in a strong looking maiden today.

Third foal. Related to a 1m winner and likely to need more of a trip in due course.

Related to seven winners at varying distances. Yard 0-10 this year with two-year-olds.

Finished last on debut at 7f debut at Naas recently. Will need this drop in trip to bring about huge improvement to figure here.

33/1 chance on debut at this track last month. Never figured after a slow start when 10th of 12 and needs to show huge improvement.

Horse silk

Showed some improvement from debut when fourth last recently but was 7L behind Western Frontier on that occasion and unlikely to turn the form around.

Cheap yearling. Dam unraced and she is the trainer's first two-year-old runner of the season.

Horse silk

Stepped up on debut effort when seventh of 15 in a Fairyhouse maiden over 6f but likely to fare better in handicaps after this.

Half-sister to three winners the best of which is Ronald R who won over 7f at Two. Trainer 1-29 with juveniles this year.

Horse silk

Beaten almost 8l when third of eight in 5f Naas debut in June but shaped with plenty of promise behind a subsequent listed race winner. That bare form puts her in the mix although the four month absence a slight concern.

Verdict

WESTERN FRONTIER shaped with plenty of promise here on debut and just normal improvement should see him break his duck on second start. THIRD OF MARCH is a threat providing he is ready to go after an absence since July while it will be interesting to see if there is any market confidence behind BORN INVINCIBLE again
  1. Western Frontier
  2. Third Of March
  3. Born Invincible
