Verdict

Haydock winner JONAH JONES certainly wasn't disgraced in Listed company at Doncaster since, fading only late on. Eased in class and trip, Tom Dascombe's charge sets the standard here and can get back on the winning track. Giving 6lb to Qutob is no formality, though the expensive Acclamation colt must improve on his Nottingham seconds to take this. Fares Kodiac is capable of further progress while Defence Treaty goes up in trip and, on better ground, should build on his Hamilton third.
