Daughter of Shantou out of a Welsh Term mare related to multiple winners Poly Peachum, and Death Duty. 25/1 and came home in his own time on debut in Gowran Park bumper in February. Watching brief on return to action.
2
Horse silk
11/1
Point-to-point winner in August, not set the world alight in maiden hurdles at Kilbeggan and Navan since. Had shown promise in bumpers in 2017. Must bounce back.
3
Horse silk
33/1
Daughter of Kayf Tara out of a Green Tune mare. Cost €40,000 as a three-year-old, under pressure a long way out in Killarney bumper in July on good ground, though not beaten all that far (last of six). Should be more to come, yard in flying form.

Horse silk
Lill Smitht29
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-9| J: Mr M J O'Hare(3)| T: N Meade
7/1
Gold Well mare, not disgraced in a Listowel bumper against her own sex last month (also ran well in one hurdles start). She will however need to improve to take this.
5
Horse silk
11/10
Blue Bresil mare, a €58,000 buy as a three-year-old for leading connections, finished 5L runner-up on debut at Ballinrobe (2m1½f, good) in July having set off odds-on favourite and tried to make all. There should be more to come.
6
Horse silk
66/1
Daughter of Stowaway out of a winning hurdler, no threat in bumpers at Sligo and Listowel so far and probably best watched for now.
7
Horse silk
100/1
Daughter of Court Cave out of an Alderbrook mare. Half-sister to Ollie Magern, and Bygones Of Brid, amongst other winners. Tailed off on debut at Galway last month (2m½f, soft) and was unfancied in the betting. Caution advised.
8
Horse silk
66/1
Daughter of Kalanisi out of a Carlingford Castle mare related to Katchit, Brain Power and Kalashnikov. Failed to beat anything bar the ambulance home in two spring bumpers here (2m4f soft) and Down Royal (2m, good). Has work to do returning.
9
Horse silk
6/1
Oscar filly. Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Knockmaole Boy. Represents in-form Gordon Elliott team on debut and no shock to find her taking front rank.
10
Horse silk
Roneyt162
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-5| J: Mr B O'Neill| T: P Nolan
7/1
Out of a sister to Grade 1 hurdle winner Pingshou, and dam has already produced a winner in this sphere by Flemensfirth. Promising third of 14 in Cork bumper (2m, soft to heavy) in May on debut, returns from a break and capable of better.

Horse silk
6/1
Beat Hollow filly. Half-sister to useful bumper winner Bordini. Makes plenty appeal on paper, yard in decent form and booking of Derek O'Connor always a positive.

Forecasts

Westport Lady (11/10), Silk And Sand (6/1), Kashmir Wilde (6/1), Lill Smith (7/1), Roney (7/1), Gemma's Flame (11/1), Aunty Liz (33/1), Kiss Me Kayf (33/1), Coosan Bluebell (66/1), Gerrys Gem (66/1), Courtly Princess (100/1)

Verdict

An open-looking finale. Westport Lady went off odds-on in her debut at Ballinrobe in July and had to settle for second having cut out the running. She'll surely learn from that, but the form isn't overly strong and given her connections the market won't miss her. Kiss Me Kayf should improve, though stablemate Kashmir Wilde looks the pick on debut for the Elliott followers. Another newcomer Silk And Sand is entitled to respect for a yard going along very nicely but perhaps well-bred Cork third RONEY can make the most of that experience on her return from a summer break and upset some of the bigger yards in the finale.
  1. Roney
  2. Silk And Sand
  3. Westport Lady
