130,000gns newcomer by Camelot is half-brother to 6f-7f including at two and Listed winner Brother Bear out of an unraced dam. Likable pedigree and trainer won this race last year so has to enter calculations.
Dansili half-sister to US Grade Three 1m2f-1m3f scorer Real Smart couldn't get on terms when beaten 10¼L into sixth on C&D debut two weeks ago. Should improve now but good bit to find.
Newcomer by Dubawi is the first foal out of a Group placed 7f two-year-old winner closely related to the very smart Flaming Spear. Attractive pedigree with enough speed and has to be considered for champion trainer elect.
Built on promising Newbury third on debut over 6f when second over 7f at Salisbury where she looked to have made a winning move before getting worn down. Solid form in both starts rates her as a leading candidate.
Newcomer by Australia cost €100,000 as a yearling and is half-sister to six winners from 6f to 1m1f. May want a little further and trainer less likely than some of the big yards to have a first time out winner.
Dubawi filly was keen on debut at Kempton where she finished fourth of five although she actually led briefly 1f out. Winner of that subsequently Group Two placed so form very solid and has to among the main contenders now.
Beaten 2½L into third on debut at Lingfield where she was a short head behind Hostess who'd had a run. Good chance she will turn the tables now if as effective on turf and she should be being by Dark Angel.
500,000gns debutant by Shamardal is a sister to Puissance De Lune (Group Two winner at up to 1m5f) and two more winners from 5f-7f. Yard's two-year-olds tend to need first race but well bred enough to watch the market.
Only beat one home on debut and couldn't even manage that latest at Newcastle so easy enough to pass over here.
Raven's Pass filly was beaten just over 8L into sixth on debut at Newbury over 6f where she showed up well until the final 2f. Big step up needed but should stay 7f well on pedigree.
Like most from this yard she improved greatly in her second start when beaten a short-head over 1m here after a sustained duel upfront. That form rock-solid and a drop to 7f could even see her in a better light to leading claims here.
Dubawi filly bred for middle distances and rather unsurprisingly found things happening too quickly on C&D debut two weeks ago. Better for the experience but one for further next year.

Nashirah (3/1), Queen Power (4/1), Heritage (9/2), Star Of War (5/1), Duneflower (11/2), Night Secret (10/1), Hostess (10/1), Arctic Ocean (22/1), Malika I Jahan (25/1), Dubrava (25/1), Swansdown (40/1), Sandlark (50/1), Red Archangel (100/1)
The debut performance of NASHIRAH looked promising at first glance with her leading 1f out before tiring slightly but given the winner has since gone close in the Rockfel that form is considerably stronger than average and she should be well up to winning a maiden now. Dangers are plentiful with Night Secret for the always feared William Haggas team chief among them off the back of a good debut third. Star Of War will also go well having gone down by a short head here latest over 1m.
- Nashirah
- Night Secret
- Star Of War
