Stayed on well to win 2m2f good-ground Kilbeggan bumper on debut for champion trainer, the yard's first runner in these famous silks. Makes jumping bow having relocated to Team Elliott and, up in trip, should have plenty to offer.

Cork bumper winner in July, so far has proved disappointing in four starts in maiden hurdles, having been strong in the betting. Tackles longer trip and retains respect, given connections.

Changed hands for €75,000 last year after being placed in a point-to-point last year, finished fifth of 12 (beaten 40L) in 2m4f maiden hurdle at Punchestown in December (won by Getabird), off since. Betting check needed.

Minor promise shown so far, beaten around 15L over a furlong shorter here recently in maiden hurdle on return from 168-day break. Has to improve to warrant place claims.

Verdict

Having been Willie Mullins' first runner in the Qatar Racing silks when winning a Kilbeggan bumper, SOLINDIAN now make his hurdles bow having swapped Closutton for Gordon Elliott's yard. The change shouldn't disguise his promise, and another winning start for a powerful trainer will be no surprise. Koroleva on the other hand has become frustrating for the Mullins team, though might find this longer trip suits. He's No Molly was in a tough maiden at Punchestown in December when last sighted and is worth a betting check here.
