Hard to know how much this Rock Of Gibraltar gelding beat on debut Southwell but he stuck to his task well. 7lb penalty makes life tough though in what looks likely to be a stronger contest.
Dubai Destination gelding from a fair family who was not at all disgraced when third over course and distance on debut last month. Should have learned from that and expected to be there or thereabouts this time.
€130,000 Fastnet Rock gelding whose dam was a fair winning juvenile. Looks the part on paper and represents shrewd yard so worth considering if market reflects any level of confidence.
Enrique gelding who cost €40,000 and is out of a dam who is half-sister to a Group 3 winner ont he Flat. Didn't show much in two point-to-points but jas joined a good yard and there may be improvement to come.
Kayf Tara gelding from a good jumping yard makes his racecourse bow for top stable and is likely to know his job. Definitely one for the short list.

Three runs so far in bumpers showing promise each time, although appearing to lack pace at the business end of his races. May well do better once hurdling and may again find a few too good here.
Very well bred son of Presenting, out of a dam who is full-sister to the Gold Cup and King George VI Chase winner Long Run. Never competitive on February bumper debut but much better last month when runner-up here and should again go well.

Forecasts

Disciple (2/1), Thyme Hill (9/4), Freedom Run (7/2), Timcoda (8/1), Mrs Hyde (10/1), Dessie's Diamond (16/1), The Rocket Park (16/1), Eclat Des Bieffes (25/1)

Verdict

Amy Murphy's horses are in decent nick and it wouldn't surprise if her expensive recruit DISCIPLE were to run a very big race first time out. He is taken to make a winning start. Thyme HIll is another who looks the part on paper and his yard had a good record in this sphere, and The Rocket Park sets the standard on his debut win, although he'll find life much harder under his penalty. Freedom Run could be a player, and Dessie's Diamond is not ruled out of the equation either. Mrs Hyde was due to run at Ludlow on Wednesday.
