Run with credit all five starts and will stripper fitter for her latest sound effort when a staying-on third at Worcester four weeks ago. Looks sure to be there or thereabouts.

Showed promise in two French events and landed a proper gamble on British debut in listed bumper at Market Rasen in January. Well backed but finished last of 20 in Aintree Bumper and is better than that in April. Very interesting on hurdles bow.

Narrowly beaten on debut in Warwick bumper last November but beaten out of sight by Dissavril at Market Rasen in January. Not disgraced in Cheltenham bumper in the spring, and may do better now over timber for top yard.

Cost €55,000 and made when winning debut in Huntingdon bumper 11 months ago. Very disappointing only subsequent start at Cheltenham and may have had a breathing issue. Returns following wind op and represents powerful yard so looks a player.

Disappointing Mastercraftsman filly who has yet to reach a place in 13 starts on the Flat. Hoping for better luck now over hurdles but this looks a tough task.

Verdict

A fair race that can go to DISSAVRIL, winner of a listed bumper last year and making her debut over hurdles here. Mabela may prove the biggest danger if the recent wind operation has done the trick as she showed ability last year in winning one of her two bumpers. Chequered View has fitness on her side and that makes her competitive, while Kimberley Point may do better over hurdles this term than in bumpers last season and any market move for her would be worthy of note.

  3. Chequered View
