Front-running sort, has been guilty of doing too much early on recently.Hurdling on latest start and unlikely to play a part in the finish back chasing here.
C&D winner in October 2016 off a 3lb lower mark. Liable to find a couple stronger here.
Winner over C&D as recently as August on good ground off an 8lb lower mark. In good heart right now and holds strong place claims.
Has failed to complete in his last couple of starts over fences at Kilbeggan and appears to be suffering the after effects of a heavy fall in June.
First-past-the-post in his last couple of starts over the larger obstacles including at 50/1 when last seen in August. Needs to be taken seriously here.
Limerick novice chase winner in December 2017. Looked in need of the run at Listowel in June but off the again since. Each way claims.
Remains without a win in five starts over the larger obstacles but his second of 11 behind Nick Lost in a 2m5f beginners chase in June appears to be interesting form.
Not seen since April and was beaten over 28L in his last couple of chase starts. Not won for over 18-months and there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel just yet.
Failed to land the hat-trick in a Kilbeggan handicap chase last month finishing down the field before disappointing once again at Listowel last month. Plenty to prove at present.
C&D winner who has conditions against him here and is still racing 10lb higher than last winning mark. May have to settle for a place.
Improved in a couple of chase starts over the last couple of months and is worth a check in the market here.
Slowly getting the hang of things over fences and his nose defeat at Downpatrick when last seen in August puts him right in the mix here.
Produced a career-best when winning eight-runner handicap chase at Listowel last month and won this contest 12-months ago off a similar mark. Has the form to make a bold bid once again.
Deservedly got off the mark over the larger obstacles at the fourth time of asking for leading owners at Sligo last month and is likely to go well once again.
Distance winner but has appeared a little rusty since returning to action in August. Others hold stronger profiles now back chasing.
Well beaten over 107L in a couple of inept chase starts last month. Needs to raise overall performance to play a role.
Plenty to like about his runs over fences last month and appears to be in good form right now. Entitled to make the shortlist.

GENTLEMAN DUKE appears to be getting the hang of things over fences and anything near the form of his nose defeat at Downpatrick when last seen in August in a 2m3f handicap chase can see him land the prize here seeing off the challenge of C&D winner of this race 12-months ago, Presenting Mahler, who can emerge as the biggest danger. Grand Partner, C&D winner, Fenlon's Hill, Peacocks Secret and Penny Jane are all capable of hitting the frame.
- Gentleman Duke
- Presenting Mahler
