Knew enough to make the running on debut at Thirsk, and improved when fifth of 10 to Legal Tender in 5f novice at Redcar last time, despite seeming to find the trip too sharp. Will do better, although could again find this an insufficient test.
Well-backed when a creditable second of 7 to Irene May in maiden at Brighton on last month's debut, and similar form when third at Kempton next time, when again making most. Should appreciate this track, and ought to do better.
Gelded son of Dandy Man out of a juvenile 5f winner. Sales price rose to £58,000 at breeze-up sales, and worth a market check, for all his debut comes at a late stage of the season given precocious pedigree.
Related to plenty of winners and he himself went close to joining them when only denied by a neck at Redcar (6f, good) in August. Failed to cope with testing ground at Carlisle last time, and likely to bounce back now.
Swiss Spirit colt who ran well for a long way until fading out of it at Thirsk (6f, good to soft) on debut, and built on that when runner-up at Pontefract last time. More to come, although needs it in this company..
Helmet half-sister to several winners, including 5f-7f winner Guardia Svizzera. Yard in fine form, and this filly is bred to be sharp, so needs monitoring for signs of confidence.
Showed a bit more dash than on debut when racing prominently at Newcastle last time, but still only beat one home, and looks limited on early evidence.
Hooded for debut at Ripon (5f, good) in May, and ran better than market indicated when fourth of 6 behind Life of Riley. Looked sure to improve, but absence since that run sounds alarm bells.
By Kodiac out of a winning half-sister to Listed 1m winner Mixed Intention. Never in contention when seventh of 10 on recent Beverley debut, and hood she wore then is retained.
Has shown very little in two starts to date, and makes little appeal this side of handicaps.
Has proved frustrating to follow, with six places from eight starts to date, and she isn't progressing. Didn't seem to do much wrong when second at Nottingham last time, though, and sure to be in the mix once again.
Forecasts
Summer Blossom (10/11), Liquid Lunch (5/1), Finch Hatton (5/1), The Cotswold Wasp (10/1), Leodis Dream (10/1), Epaulini (20/1), Celestial Warrior (33/1), Miss Sabina (33/1), Mixed Up Miss (33/1), Our Wynnie (125/1), Lady Mayhem (150/1)
She may be expensive to follow, but SUMMER BLOSSOM isn't doing much wrong, and sets a stiff enough standard, so gets the vote ahead of Liquid Lunch, for whom soft ground is a valid excuse last time. Finch Hatton failed to justify skinny odds last time, but isn't one to give up on given the promise of his debut effort.
